Gladys F. Moore, 78, of Clark County, Winchester, Ky., passed away on July 10, 2020 in Mt. Sterling, Ky., at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Judy Edens.

Funeral services were held at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home on July 13, for immediate family with burial following at Winchester Cemetery.

Gladys was born on Oct. 7, 1941 in Clark County to Robert F. Corey and Mary Elizabeth (Strange) Corey. She was survived by husband Raymond Moore.

Raymond and Gladys were united in marriage May 8, 1982 in Winchester, Ky.

Gladys was also survived by one sister, Francis Perry, of Nicholasville, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy Corey (brother), William Corey (brother), and Temple Edens (granddaughter).

Gladys was also survived by five daughters, Treda (Greg) Swoveland, Glenna Lou (Jason) Pelfrey, Karen (Wayne) Combs, Tammy Moody, Teresa Pelfrey and three sons, Jackie (Hanna) Edens, David (Judy) Edens and Charles Edens.

She had 21 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

Gladys attended and was a member of Hill Street Pentecostal Church. She received her GED at the age of 69, in 2010 and worked as a crossing guard and at Walmart for 25 years.

Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home was in charge of these arrangements.
