A head-on crash claimed the lives of two men and injured another person early Tuesday morning.
The two drivers, 37-year-old Joshua Dye of West Liberty and 38-year-old Gary Brooks of Mount Sterling, both died in the crash on Boonesboro Road, Clark County Sheriff Berl Perdue Jr. said.
A passenger, who had not been identified at press time, was flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center, he said.
The crash was reported at 4:38 a.m. Tuesday.
Perdue said Dye was northbound in a Chevrolet Tahoe when it crossed the center line and collided with a southbound Dodge Dakota, driven by Brooks.
The incident is still under investigation, he said. The cause has not been determined.
