Two men were arrested early Saturday morning after a man was assaulted and held against his will in a hotel room after allegedly using a racial slur.

Danny Lesane, 45, and Marcus Wilton Bullard, 48, of Sanford, North Carolina, were at the Red Roof Inn, along with the victim, David Gibson. According to court documents, Winchester Police were called to the hotel at 12:31 a.m. after Gibson escaped and asked an employee to call 911.

Gibson said he woke to find Lesane on top of him with a knee on his chest while slapping his face with one hand and holding a knife in the other.
