According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened shortly after 9 a.m.

Clark County Sheriff Berl Perdue Jr. said Arreguin was about six months pregnant, and lost her unborn child following the crash.

The road conditions appeared to be the main contributing factor in the crash, he said.

All four people in the vehicles were transported to area hospitals, with Davis and Arreguin’s passenger, Jason Arreguin, going to Clark Regional Medical Center and Cassie Arreguin and Davis’ passenger, Autumn Hufnagle, going to the University of Kentucky Medical Center for treatment.
