Thousands filled Lykins Park Thursday for an evening of festivities, food and fireworks to celebrate the Fourth of July. The event, partially funded by the city and county along with corporate sponsors, was renamed Lights over Lykins this year. In addition to those in the park, others parked along surrounding roads and yards to watch the fireworks.
