A Clark County man agreed to serve three years in prison after pleading guilty to distributing explicit videos of minors.

Alan C. Martin, 40, of 9 Hillcrest Drive, was arrested in October by Kentucky State Police detectives conducting an undercover investigation.

According to court documents, detectives with the KSP Electronic Crimes Branch discovered an IP address in Winchester which send “files of child sexual exploitation” to a law enforcement account.

State police later executed a search warrant at Martin’s residence, during which he admitted to searching for, downloading and viewing explicit videos on a computer in the residence.

Martin’s sentencing hearing was scheduled for July 11.
