Three teens charged with the shooting and robbery of another person last year are still waiting on the mediation process.

Dakota Townsend, 17, Stacey Stamper, 16, and Brandon Hart, 18, are each charged with first-degree assault and first-degree robbery from the alleged drug deal turned robbery.

Thursday in Clark Circuit Court, attorneys for the three said they were still waiting to meet with a mediator to come up with a resolution for the case.

Clark Circuit Judge Jean Chenault Logue scheduled another pre-trial conference for Nov. 1.

In felony mediation, all parties to a case meet with a mediator to negotiate a plea agreement. The case judge, though, is not bound to follow the agreement.

The victim, 19-year-old Logan Ramsey, told police he was buying marijuana from Stamper, who set up the meet. Ramsey told police Stamper demanded the money when Townsend and Hart showed up with handguns. Ramsey said the two fired at him as he turned to run. Once he fell, he said Hart and Townsend kicked him before taking his phone and cash.

In court documents, Stamper said Ramsey took the marijuana and ran, while Hart and Townsend chased Ramsey with Townsend firing his handgun.

Hart told police he did not see anyone fire shots.
