Man gets 10 years for sexual offenses from 1968-1975
A Winchester man was sentenced to a decade in prison for sexual offenses which occurred more than 40 years ago.
Victor Kincaid, 71, of 113 Sycamore St., pleaded guilty in February to one count of second-degree rape and four counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
According to the indictment, he was charged with incidents involving three separate females who were juveniles at the time. He was alleged to have had intercourse with two of the girls as well as subjecting them to other sexual contact. Kincaid was not charged with having intercourse with the third girl, only sexual contact.
Kincaid was indicted in June 2015 for two counts of carnal knowledge of a child and three counts of indecent or immoral practices with a child under 15. The charges were later amended to those in the guilty plea.
According to the indictment, the acts all occurred between 1968 and 1975 in Clark County. The case was investigated by the Kentucky State Police.
On Thursday, Kincaid was sentenced to five years each for second-degree rape and one of the sexual abuse charges, which will run consecutively. He was sentenced to one year for each of the three remaining abuse charges, which will run concurrently for a total sentence of 10 years. He is also required to register as a sex offender.
