CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Jerry Williams, 52, of Clearfield, was charged May 9 with no insurance and driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license.

— Devon Tays, 25, of 246 Cook Ave., was charged Monday with possession of a controlled substance, promoting contraband and was served a warrant and a summons.

Accidents

— At 3:55 p.m. May 9, deputies responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 92 mile marker in which Madalyn C. Morse of Frankfort was traveling east when her vehicle struck a center barrier. Morse was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with possible neck, leg and chest injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Monday, EMS personnel responded to seven general medical calls, three cardiac cases, two respiratory cases and one seizure.

— At 1:02 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Lexington and Taylor avenues.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Lauren Page Arnold, 29, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Victoria Marie Buckland, 47, was charged Monday with driving under the influence.

— Mildred Rose Campbell, 38, was charged Monday with second-degree burglary.

Reports

— At 12:11 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 525 N. Main St. concerning a stolen 12-foot trailer.

— At 1:39 p.m. Monday, officers took a report concerning a stolen lawn mower.

— At 3:08 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 260 Oxford Drive concerning a theft.

— At 6:22 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 30 Wheeler Ave. concerning an assault.

Accidents

— At 5:54 p.m. May 9, officers responded to an injury accident on West Lexington Avenue in which Tayman K. Hayes of 2481 Ecton Road was attempting to turn left from Shoppers Drive but did not see an oncoming vehicle, driven by Ashleigh Merritt of 388 Trapp-Goff’s Corner Road. Merritt was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with a forehead injury and neck pain.

— At 1:02 p.m. Monday, officers responded to an injury accident at West Lexington and Taylor avenues in which Shelby Watkins of 47 Heather Lane was traveling west and looked away briefly before returning and rear-ending another vehicle, driven by Shirley Hopper of 126 Hibiscus Court, which was stopped near the Kentucky Utilities entrance. Watkins was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— At 3:57 p.m. Monday, officers responded to an injury accident on Colby Road in which a vehicle driven by Jordan R. Carey of 335 S. Main St. went off the road and struck a support cable for a utility pole. Carey was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
