WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 13 general medical calls and one cardiac case.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Reports

— At 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to 1060 Dry Fork Road after someone took a box scrapper.

— At 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to 218 Ecton Road concerning a stolen iPad.

Accidents

— At 11:44 a.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to an injury accident near the 6 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway in which a vehicle driven by Joshua S. Baker of Clay City went into the median and struck a guardrail. Baker was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 12:07 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 5 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Ricky Dale Beard, 48, was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence, reckless driving, first-degree wanton endangerment and possession of open container of alcohol in motor vehicle.

— Gary L. Martin, 37, was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Reports

— At 2 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Waveland and Carolina avenues for a domestic disturbance.

— At 8:23 a.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning a vandalized vehicle on Kiwi Drive.

— At 11:09 a.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning a stolen money order and phone.

— At 11:50 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center, 175 Hospital Drive, concerning damage to the building.

— At 6:42 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to the Clark County Detention Center, 30 Wall St., concerning lost or found property.

— At 7:24 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning a fraudulent check.

Accidents

— At 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to an injury accident at 160 Westside Drive in which a vehicle driven by Esther Y. McDaniel rolled out of her driveway and struck a parked car owned by James P. Shanks. She was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center.
