CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Scott Stephens, 47, of 121 Albany Lane, was charged Thursday with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication.

Reports

— At 8:43 p.m. Thursday, deputies were called to 121 Albany Lane for a complaint of two juveniles on the caller’s roof. Scott Stephens was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 9:13 a.m. Thursday, deputies were called to Shell Mart, Van Meter Road, concerning a person who left a backpack in the store.

— At 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to Clintonville and Lexington roads concerning someone damaged several fence posts.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 12:33 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Mount Sterling Road.

— At 6:09 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 2509 Mount Sterling Road.

— At 7:02 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 102 mile marker on Interstate 64.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Alexandra M. Castro, 20, was charged Thursday with possession of marijuana.

— Armonty Damarco English, 21, was charged Thursday with trafficking in marijuana, failure to register transfer of motor vehicle and no or expired registration plate.

— Travis Matthew Kemplin, 37, was charged Thursday with possession of drug paraphernalia, third-degree possession of a controlled substance and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— Christopher Dale Perry, 46, was charged Thursday with being a fugitive from another state.

— At 7:48 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to East Broadway Street and Park Avenue after a child was dropped off after missing the bus by two people the child did not know.

— At 11:36 a.m. Thursday, officers took a report concerning an theft from the Winchester Housing Authority.

— At 12:09 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 1007 W. Lexington Ave. after a basement was flooded after water was left running outside.

— At 4:29 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 20 Memorial Park concerning a theft of tools.

— At 5:32 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 1138 Dale Drive for a suspicious person. Travis Kemplin was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 5:57 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 806 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a person causing problems.

— At 6:32 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 19 Snowfall Drive after someone broke into a building.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Thursday, EMS personnel responded to nine general medical calls, one cardiac case, two respiratory cases, one diabetic case and one stroke.

— At 4:10 p.m. Thursday, firefighters were called to 120 N. Main St. for a fuel spill.
