Laura L. Mayer passed away Tuesday, May 15.

She was born April 22, 1925 to the late Walter and Myrtle Beaner Craig, in Johnstown, Pa.

She was a retired school teacher, a First Lt. in the US Army; a member of Christ View Christian Church and a former member of the Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, John Craig (Jamie) Mayer, grandson, John Craig Mayer Jr. and grandsons Craig, Ryan and Joshua Mayer; nieces Linda and Carol Craig, Laura Lee Kerwin and Connie Walrath and a nephew, Mark Craig.

She is also preceded in death by a son, Martin J. Mayer.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 19, at Lexington Cemetery at 11:00 am. Rolan G Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
