Carolyn Rae Blank, 82, widow of Russell Dean Blank, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, KY.

She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on May 30, 1936, to the late Raymond and Carolyn Isabelle Bond Heitzman. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Carolyn enjoyed reading mystery books, embroidering and her iPad.

Survivors include three children, Allan (Debbie) Blank, Debbie (Denver) Beckham and Sharon (James) Mayo; six grandchildren, Amy Jo (Steven) Mauzy, Sharan Lee (Jay) Ellis, Brian (Ashley) Beckham, David Mayo and Lisa (Jacob) Beckham; six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Chris Mayo.

Services will be at 1:00PM, Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Scobee Funeral Home. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00PM until time of service at 1:00PM.
