Matthew Douglas Townsend, 36, husband of Angela Renee White Townsend, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018.

A native of Clark County, Kentucky, he was born on December 29, 1981, to Leonard Douglas and Donna Johnson Townsend. He was a retail worker and a member of Winchester Church of Christ.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three children, Tia Renee Townsend, Savannah Brooke Townsend and Joshua Douglas Townsend; one brother, Jesse Townsend; grandmother, Betty Johnson; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul Johnson and grandparents, Leonard Townsend and Maxie Townsend.

Private services will be held at a later date.
