— On Thursday, EMS personnel responded to 17 general medical calls.
— At 12:22 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Lafayette Boulevard and McClure Road.
— At 2:40 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 707 Boone Ave. It was a false alarm.

Charged
— Mark Dewayne Bailes, 46, was charged Thursday as a fugitive from another state.
— Seth Medlen, 21, was charged Thursday with theft by unlawful taking.
Reports
— At 2:03 p.m. Thursday, officers took a report concerning a fraud complaint.
— At 4:07 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a theft. Seth Medlen was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.
— At 7:53 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Brown Proctor Apartments, 108 S. Main St., concerning a stolen wallet.
