WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— Over the weekend, emergency medical services responded to 44 general medical calls, two respiratory cases and one seizure.

— At 11:02 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted Clark County Fire with a structure fire at 1725 Kiddville Road.

— At 11:01 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 40 Jean Court.

— At 7:18 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a vehicle accident at that are of Veterans Memorial Bypass and Irvine Road.

— At 7:41 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 113 Sheffield Way.

— At 9:59 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 29 Denny Ave.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Troy Devan Abrams, 43, was charged Saturday with alcohol intoxication in a public place (third or greater offense) and was issued three citations for failure to appear.

— Brenda Cain, no age given, was charged Friday with alcohol intoxication in a public place.

— William Charles Coyle, 25, was charged Sunday with buying or possessions drug paraphernalia, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine) and was served a warrant for court.

— Quincy D. Dean, 25, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking under $500 and alcohol intoxication in a public place.

— Jeannie Elkins, 49, was charged Friday with failure to wear seatbelt and operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license.

— Allen Frazier, 30, was charged Sunday with fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

— Destiny Hope Gooslin, 27, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful takin under $500, second-degree robbery and second-degree disorderly conduct.

— Amy Deshane Hampton, 34, was charged Sunday with theft by unlawful taking under $500 and tampering with physical evidence.

— Angela Potts Moore, 46, was charged Saturday with improper turning, operating on a suspended or revoked license, failure of owner to maintain required insurance and no or expired registration plates.

— Cassandra Reyanne Reynolds, 28, was charged Friday with failure to maintain required insurance.

— Deonte Kesean Skinner, 28, was charged Sunday with fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

— Caleb Staton, 19, was charged Friday with leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid.

— Tamesha Latrece Stewart, 37, was charged Sunday with third-degree burglary and tampering with physical evidence.

— At 2:54 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to 153 Cherry St. concerning someone beating on the door trying to enter the property. Officer found it was three juveniles knocking on doors and running away.

— At 6:04 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to 1661 Bypass Road concerning a dog locked in a hot vehicle.

— At 9:43 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to 332 Hill St. concerning a malnourished dog running loose in the area.

— At 2:20 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 951 Bypass Road concerning two stolen bikes.

— At 4:23 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 24 W. Lexington Ave. concerning shoplifting.

— At 5:06 p.m. Sunday, offices responded to 147 Magnolia St. concerning a stolen lawnmower.

— At 6:09 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 120 Shoppers Village Plaza concerning a wallet stolen from a vehicle.

— At 8 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 1476 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a report that homeless people living in the bushes behind the store were throwing eggs at the caller’s employees.

— At 8:27 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 1859 Bypass Road concerning shoplifting.

— At 11:58 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 250 Oxford Drive concerning people throwing things at the caller’s window.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 10:57 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a structure fire at 1725 Kiddville Road.

— At 7:16 Sunday, firefighters responded to a grass fire at Primrose Lane.

— At 7:18 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an accident at the area of Veterans Memorial Bypass and Irvine Road.

— At 8:53 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a fire alarm sounding at 1229 Trapp Goffs Corner Road.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Isis Horton, 23, of Lexington, was charged Friday with speeding, careless driving and rear light not illuminated.

— Jessica Cole, 33, of Mount Sterling, was charged Friday with no insurance and no registration plates.

— Caree Baker, 23, of 1999 Muddy Creek Road, was charged Friday with buying or possessing drug paraphernalia.

— David Elam, 35, of 1999 Muddy Creek Road, was charged Friday with buying or possessing drug paraphernalia, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine) and possession of marijuana.

— Jonathan Thurber, 21, of 1278 Ecton Road, was charged Friday with alcohol intoxication and disorderly conduct.

— William Marcum, 53, of 523 Constitution Drive, was charged Friday with third-degree possession of a controlled substance, first-degree possesion of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Reports

— According to a report, deputies executed a search warrant at 523 Constitution Drive after making several traffic stops on vehicles from the location that resulted in drug arrests and a report of drug activity at the address. While searching the home deputies located multiple drugs including methamphetamine, buprenorphine, oxycodol, tramadol and others, along with scales, a glass pipe, small bags commonly used in trafficking, notebooks that indicated trafficking activity and a list of “house rules” that indicated drug trafficking. William Marcum, 53, was charged with third-degree possession of a controlled substance, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Accidents

— At 7:17 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Irvine Road in which a 2003 Jeep Liberty driven by Roy Fields of Irvine collided with the rear of a 2014 Kia Rio driven by Donna Roe of Mount Sterling. Roe told deputies she was traveling east on Irvine Road when a tree branch fell in the road in front of her causing her to hit her break abruptly to avoid colliding with it. Fields said he swerved to avoid hitting Roe’s vehicle, but could not. HIs vehicle went off the roadway and flipped into an embankment. Roe was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
