— Third annual Bluegrass River Run, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fort Boonesborough State Park. Launches from Fort Boonesborough State Park, paddling along pool nine of the Kentucky River, which is located just south of Lexington. The journey will immerse participants in the beauty of the 60-plus foot cliffs of the palisades as they enjoy floating refreshment stops, as well as musical artists playing from docks along the river at several points along the course.
