Bessie R. Morris, 80, wife of Bobby D. Morris, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at her home.

She was born in Homestead, Pennsylvania, on September 30, 1937, to the late Edmond and Edna Spencer Cecil. She was a retired data processing supervisor for Rockwell International.

In addition to her husband of 61 years, she is survived by twin sons, Garry Lee (Andrea Armitage) Morris and Larry D. (Bonnie Hudson) Morris; six grandchildren, Zachary (Jennifer) Morris, Megan Morris (James) Malear, Ramsey Morris, Ryann Morris (Aaron) Hornsby, Ashely Morris (Eric) Rose and Brittney Morris (Chris) Sharrock; eleven great grandchildren; two brothers, Murrel (Shelia) Cecil and Roger (Linda Kay) Cecil; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jess D. (Carletta) Cecil; two aunts, Irene Spencer and Alice Mullins; and one uncle, Jess Spencer.

Services will be at 11:00AM, Monday, August 27, 2018 at Calvary Christian Church by Pastors Matthew Aaron Hornsby and Anthony Murrel Cecil. Burial will be in Evans Cemetery, Campton, KY. Scobee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 5:00-8:00PM at Calvary Christian Church.
