Jordan Graham gave it all he had during the Kentucky-Indiana All-Star game last weekend.

Although Kentucky lost the two-game series to its border rivals, the recent George Rogers Clark High School graduate enjoyed playing among the best talent in two border neighbors.

Graham scored three points in a 97-64 setback in the opening game at Bellarmine University Friday night and didn’t log much playing time in the final game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis after hurting his foot in Louisville the previous night. Indiana rolled to a 120-74 win over Kentucky in the finale to complete the sweep.

“The All-Star game was an amazing experience,” Graham said. “Getting to catch up with a few of the guys and build new friendships with others was truly something special.”

Graham wasn’t surprised by the competition level in the series and added the series isn’t “your average All-Star game.”

“Both teams go at it hard to try and win,” he said. “There is hard defense, play calling and strategizing the entire game. This past week is something I will always remember.”

Clark coach Josh Cook was pleased to see Graham play in the annual contest.

“We are beyond proud of Jordan for making the Kentucky All-Star team,” Cook said. “I couldn’t think of a kid that (was) more deserving. Jordan truly deserves loves the game of basketball and (did) a great job representing GRC in such a prestigious event.”

Graham, son of George Rogers Clark girls basketball coach Robbie Graham, is still pondering his future plans.

“I’m still weighing my options,” he said. “I’m trying to keep an open mind to make the right decision.”
