Charged

— Tonya Denise Caudill, 44, was charged Friday with criminal possession of a forged instrument.

— Deborah Ewen, 58, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence (first offense) and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense).

— Christopher Gray, 31, was charged Sunday with buying or possessing drug paraphernalia.

— Megan Griffin, 21, was charged Sunday with public intoxication.

— Robert Dishmon Huff, 35, was charged Sunday with theft of identity, operating an ATV on a roadway and was served two warrants.

— Harold Landshaw, 31, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence and reckless driving.

— Arlene McIntosh, no age given, was charged with theft by deception under $500 (cold checks).

— Timetrius Stewart, 26, was charged Friday with trafficking marijuana less than eight ounces (first offense), carrying a concealed deadly weapon and resisting arrest. He was also served five warrants.

— Timothy Ray Taulbee, 41, was charged Friday with public intoxication.

— Cortez Huron Townsend, 25, was charged Friday with driving on a suspended license, resisting arrest, menacing, third-degree terroristic threatening and public intoxication.

— James Thomas White, 40, was charged Friday with criminal possession of a forged instrument.

— At 12:54 a.m. Friday, officers assisted emergency personnel with a call at 508 College Street.

— At 1:05 a.m. Friday, officers responded to 137 College Street in reference to someone standing in front of a house with a rifle.

— At 2:10 a.m. Friday, officers responded to 1101 Westwood Drive in reference to a breaking and entering. The intruder was wearing a black mask with fire print on it.

— At 3:35 a.m. Friday, officers responded to 27 E. Washington St. in reference to an assault.

— At 6:55 a.m. Friday, officers took a report of someone being robbed at gunpoint. The complainant had a bag with pills in it stolen.

— At 12:20 p.m. Friday, officers responded to 101 N. Main St. in reference to a check forgery.

— At 4:12 p.m. Friday, officers responded to a hit-and-run accident at 4 Wainscott Ave. involving a Chevy truck.

— At 4:13 p.m. Friday, officers responded to 1859 Bypass Road in reference to possible drug activity. The caller advised there was a man attempting to sell drugs. Timetrius Stewart, 26, was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana less than eight ounces (first offense), carrying a concealed deadly weapon and resisting arrest. He was also served five warrants.

— At 10:39 p.m. Friday, officers responded to 89-mile marker of Interstate 64 in reference to a possible drug activity. The caller advised there a man hit his girlfriend and had drugs on him. Cortez Townsend was charged with driving on a suspended license, resisting arrest, menacing, third-degree terroristic threatening and public intoxication.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— Over the weekend, emergency personnel responded to 41 general medical calls, three cardiac cases, seven respiratory cases, two diabetic cases and two seizures.

— At 5:42 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a mulch fire at 1859 Bypass Road.

— At 9:35 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 225 W. Broadway St.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 2:46 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a grass fire at 5200 Rockwell Road.

— At 6:57 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a fire alarm sounding at 291 Sundown Lane.

— At 7:59 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted emergency crews at  757 Wayland Drive.

— At 8:01 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to the smell of gas at the area of Veterans Memorial Bypass and Ecton Road.

— At 2:04 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at the area of Combs Ferry Road and Basin Springs.

— At 3:21 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at the area of Rockwell Road and Bypass Road.

— At 12:18 p.m. Monday, firefighters assisted emergency crews at the area of Irvine Road and Mina Station Road.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Accidents

— At 3:20 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an injury accident at the intersection of Rockwell and Van Meter roads. According to the report, a 2015 Ram 2500 driven by Danny Mulholland of Anneville, Kentucky, was traveling west of Rockwell Road when it struck 2017 Buick Encore driven by Robin Fryman of Paris head on. Mulholland attempted to turn left onto VanMeter Road when he crossed the path of Fryman’s vehicle. Mulholland and Fryman, along with two passengers in Fryman’s vehicle where transported to Clark Regional Medical Center. A passenger in Mulholland’s vehicle did not report any injuries.

Charged

— At 9:41 p.m. Sunday, Darrin Tays, 36, was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine).

Deputies received a report from a neighbor who advised two people were passed out in a red passenger car on Yorktowne Drive for several hours. When deputies arrived, they located Tays in the driver seat and Candra Day in the passenger seat. While talking to Tays and Day, deputies noticed a small clear baggy and a white cap in the driver’s-side door.

Day advised the vehicle was hers and gave deputies permission to search it. During the search, deputies located three small bags in the driver’s side floor board containing a white crystal substance, a syringe with clear liquid in the passenger seat and a syringe with clear liquid in the back seat. A field test confirmed the substance on the cotton of the white cap was methamphetamine. Tays admitted the drugs were his and was arrested. Day was not charged.
