Janet Eversole Lowe

Janet Eversole Lowe, 69, of Winchester, passed away while surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer on Friday, September 8, 2017 at her son’s residence in Lexington.

She was born in Cannel City on November 13, 1947 to the late Carl and Greathel (Prater) Eversole. She grew up as one of 12 children living primarily in Hazard.

Ms. Lowe graduated from Cordia High School in 1965, and she was employed as a factory worker at Osram Sylvania for 35 years.

She was a loving and caring mother, loyal friend and sibling, and an incredibly compassionate and good-natured person who lived with Christian values.

She is survived by two sons, Jon Claude Lowe of O’Fallon, MO and Nathan Conor Lowe of Lexington; four grandchildren; 10 siblings; and many beloved cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

A celebration of life event will be held at her residence at 114 Arlington Road in Winchester on Saturday, September 16, 2017 between 12:00-6:00 PM.
