CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on the Mountain Parkway near the 9 mile marker.

— At 12:19 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 1131 Iron Works Road.

— At 10:06 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a structure fire in a storage building at 2812 Water Works Road.

— At 10:01 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Two Mile Road and McCullough Lane involving a vehicle and a train.

— At 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 576 Pine Ridge Road.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Wednesday, emergency personnel responded to 15 general medical calls, one cardiac case, three respiratory cases and one diabetic case.

— At 9:25 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 142 Fifth St. It was caused by food on the stove. There was no fire.

— On Tuesday, emergency personnel responded to 13 general medical calls, one respiratory case, one diabetic case, one seizure and one overdose.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Justin Meadows, 23, of 134 Strode Station Circle, was charged Tuesday with receiving stolen property and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.

Reports

— At 5:32 p.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to 115 Shanahan Lane concerning a stolen dog.

— At 9:38 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to Mount Sterling and Wades Mill roads concerning a person walking with someone else’s property. During a pat-down of the person, deputies found a handgun which was reported stolen. Justin Meadows was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property (firearm) and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.

Accidents

— At 10 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Two Mile Road between a vehicle and a train. A car had gotten stuck on the railroad tracks as a train approached. A witness said he saw a male trying to get a female out of the car when the train sideswiped it, ejecting both people from the car. Zachary Winnings of Lexington was pronounced dead at the scene. Heather M. Shannon of Lexington was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center, where she died. No one on the train was injured.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Terrance Wayne Richardson, 44, was charged Tuesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— Dorothy M. Webb, 42, was charged Tuesday with improper display of registration plate and possession of marijuana.

— Oliver Scott Bond, 57, was charged Wednesday with no or expired registration plate, failure to maintain insurance and driving under the influence (second offense).

— John Allen Dodson, 27, was charged Wednesday with disregarding a stop sign, no operator’s license, failure to maintain insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper registration plate.

— Megan Marie Hill, 30, was charged Wednesday with second-degree fleeing or evading police, second-degree burglary, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia and third-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— Kimberly Jo King, 27, was charged Wednesday with hindering prosecution or apprehension.

— Leona Oney, 34, was charged Wednesday with failure to illuminate head lamps, driving under the influence and possession of marijuana.

— Elda Luvia Ordonez-Linares, 31, was charged Wednesday with second-degree wanton endangerment (three counts).

— Ronald C. Woodward, 35, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning harassing communication.

— At 6:31 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 153 Cherry St. concerning property damage caused by fireworks.

— At 6:47 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 633 N. Main St. after a car was vandalized.

— At 8:16 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 20 S. Burns Ave. concerning a theft.

— At 11:38 a.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning terroristic threatening.

— At 12:06 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning three stolen bicycles.

— At 2:25 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 419 Estes Drive concerning a theft.

— At 3:57 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning terroristic threatening.

— At 5:36 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Kroger, 1661 Bypass Road, concerning children left inside a running car. Elda Luvia Ordonez-Linares was arrested and charged with three counts of second-degree wanton endangerment.

— At 8:41 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 308 Maryland Ave. for a harassing communications complaint.

— At 11:32 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 960 Interstate Drive concerning suspected drug activity.
