Winchester Inspired by Nature (WIN) got into the weeds during its WINsday walk Wednesday night at The Path.
The group hosted Craig and Jennifer Caudill, instructors at the Nature Reliance School in Winchester.
The Caudills led about 30 people along the path looking for wild plants that many overlook despite their nutritional or medical value.
Along the way the group identified sour grass, dandelions, fox tail and several more wild plants that can be harvested and consumed with the proper knowledge.
WIN hosts a walk every Wednesday as a chance to connect and talk with others who enjoy doing things outdoors.
