Dorothy “Dot” Pasley Epperson, 93, passed away in Oxford, Florida on March 14, 2025. She was born in Winchester, Kentucky on June 14, 1931 to Clifton and Fannie Pasley. She taught at Central Elementary School for 31 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Disciples of Christ Church of Winchester, Kentucky. Dorothy enjoyed quilting, painting on canvas, making ceramic dolls and loved being a teacher, a mom, gran and great gran.
Dorothy is survived by her son, David (Karen) Epperson; Grandchildren: Christopher (Kassy) Epperson, Jessica (Ryan) Kidd, Jonathan Epperson; Great Grandchildren: Charlie, CJ, Colin, Lucas, Aiden, Aspen and Joseph; Brother: JC (Deloris) Pasley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Epperson and son, Gary Epperson.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home, 1110 Barnes Mill Rd., Richmond, KY 40475, with Pastor Bill Fort officiating. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
