Helen Ruth Stanfield Webb, age 84, of Winchester, widow of Virgil Webb, departed this life on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Northpoint Health Care Facility in Lexington, Kentucky. Helen was born on January 4, 1940, the daughter of the late Robert Getsy and Cora Beatrice Stokley Stanfield, was a homemaker, an avid farmer’s wife, and wonderful mother and grandmother. She and her late husband Virgil raised tobacco on many farms in Central Kentucky and Helen was known for being an outstanding cook. She was loved by all her family and will be greatly missed. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Webb; a sister, Betty Courtney; brothers, Bobby, Doug, and Mike Stanfield; along with several nieces and nephews, whom she now is in heaven with, free of pain, and enjoying talking with them and other loved ones.
Surviving are her children, Vicky (David) Allen, Benny R. Webb, and Glenda Webb; grandchildren, Melissa Barker, Nathan (Jo) Allen, Tosha Webb, Benjamin (Andrea) Webb, and Brea (Devin) Belleville; as well as great grandchildren, Skylar (Will) Banks, Bryson and Max Barker, Lauren Laroque, Destiny Wells, Landon and Dalton Allen, Ellie Ruth Belleville, Adeline Ray Webb; and great great grandchildren, Riley and Emma Banks. Also surviving are numerous loved nieces and nephews, and a special “sister”, Barbara Reeves.
The visitation for Helen Ruth Stanfield Webb will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home officiated by Charles David Courtney. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens with casket bearers being Benny Webb, David Allen, Nathan Allen, Bryson Barker, Max Barker, John Courtney, Benn Webb, and Devin Belleville. Honorary bearers are Melissa Barker, Tosha Webb, Brea Belleville, Jo Allen, Andrea Webb, Skylar Banks, Glenda Webb, and Kelli Mattox.
