James Hunter Davis, 89, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024. He was born October 22, 1934 in Somerset, Ky. to the late J.Davis and Virginia Hunter Taylor. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, and was a retired real estate broker. James also served as a Major in the United States Air Force and was a Navigator in the Strategic Air Command Division. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50+ years, Mary Jane Davis. Jim is survived by his daughter, Amy Quick and son, Allan H. (Kay) Davis; grandchildren Mary and James Quick, Hunter Davis and Sarah Craft, and five great-grandchildren. His service will be on Friday October 25, 2024 at First Baptist Church, Lexington Ave, at 10:30 am with visitation from 10:00 until the hour of service. Rolan G.
