The 6th annual Winchester Walk N Roll for Spina Bifida Association of Kentucky (SBAK) is taking place on Saturday, Oct. 5th.
The event – taking place at Robert D. Campbell Junior High School (RDC) at 620 Boone Avenue from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – is designed to help spread awareness and fundraise for the Spina Bifida Association of Kentucky (SBAK). In addition to the walk, the event will include food, games, cotton candy, and a popcorn machine as well as a silent auction on site. Local vendors have been added with different booths for various organizations – including The Kidz Club Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care and Shriners Hospitals for Children.
“We want to thank RDC Junior High and Principal [Tiffany] Smith for allowing us to bring our 5th annual walk back to the spot of our 1st walk that started in 2020,” stated Amie Moore, who serves as host of the event.
As more has been added, hopes are high for a large turnout.
