Samuel T. “Sam” Crawford, 84, of Muncy, died Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Williamsport North Rehabilitation Center. Sam married the former Leah Miller on August 30, 1958. Leah preceded Sam in death on June 29, 2011. Born October 12, 1939, in Winchester, KY, he was a son of the late Thomas and Edith (Gosser) Crawford. Sam was a graduate of Clark County High School, Winchester, KY. He retired in 1989 from IBM where he was a customer service representative. In his retirement he worked at several local companies. Sam loved hunting and was an avid target shooter in several disciplines. He was a life member of the NRA, and also enjoyed fishing. Sam enjoyed family get-to-gethers especially holiday dinners. Surviving are two daughters, Robinn Beaver, of Muncy, and Martina (Jeffrey) Gray, of Quakertown; a son, Andrew (Michele) Crawford, of Muncy; six Grandchildren, Seth Gray, Miranda Thompson, Zachary Gray, Samuel Crawford, Spenser Gray, and Trevor Gray. Sam was the last of his immediate family and was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Isaacs; and three brothers, Joseph, Harold, and Wayne Crawford. In keeping with Sam’s wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Sam’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association at act.alz.org/site/Donation.
