Mary Elsie Adams Moore, 97, widow of William “Bill” Moore, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024, at Fountain Circle Care and Rehabilitation. Born in Powell County, Kentucky, on March 14, 1927, she was the daughter of the late John and Stella Clemons Adams. Mary was a member of Christview Christian Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Baber of Winchester; a son, Marcus (Marsha) Moore of Winchester; 4 grandsons, Brian Baber of Winchester, Brandon (Mandy) Baber of Bedford, VA, Mason (Christina) Moore of Palm Coast, Florida and Mark (Traci) Moore of Lexington, KY; 12 great-grandchildren, Hayden, Emerson and Lincoln Baber, Eden, Avery and Ashton Baber, Anabelle, Graham and Harrison Moore, Hudson, Kate and Emmett Moore.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Allan Baber.

Graveside services will be at the Winchester Cemetery Layne Shelter at 10:00am on Friday, September 27, 2024 by Pastor Brandon Baber. Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
