Each Sunday, churches throughout Clark County and Kentucky celebrate services. 

This upcoming Sunday, April 28th, one in Winchester will do something extra for its guests and the community. 

Winchester First United Methodist Church, located at 204 S. Main Street is hosting the WFUMC Benefit Concert on Sunday, April 28th, beginning at 3:00 p.m. 

Ten area organists will be performing on the church’s 1923 Moller Pipe Organ in an effort to raise funds for the instrument’s necessary repairs. 

The most recent overhaul of the instrument occurred in 1966. 

While the concert is free to all that wish to attend, an offering will be taken for contributions to the organ fund.
