For over a decade, the GoodGiving Challenge has rallied Clark County around supporting nonprofits and other organizations.

2023 will be no different.

The 13th Annual GoodGiving Challenge – which first took place in 2011 – begins at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28, and goes through Friday, Dec. 1 at 11:59 p.m.

Participating organizations include Beacon of Hope, Clark County Community Services, Clark County Homeless Coalition, Clark County Youth Sports Association, Habitat for Humanity of Madison and Clark Counties, Hospice East, Kiwanis Club of Winchester, Marco Shemwell Foundation, New Beginnings of Winchester, Rowland Arts Center, St. Agatha Academy, and more.

The event has been largely coordinated by the Blue Grass Community Foundation in Lexington, which has provided toolkits, training sessions, outreach, mass and social media coverage, and more.

Each participating organization has an individual web page dedicated to promoting its cause.

Those who wish to donate to the nonprofit organization at their site can do so, with all donations being tax-deductible and irrevocable.

Unless the donor wishes to remain anonymous, each nonprofit will receive contact information for them.

As part of a Challenge grant, the first $8,500 of all donations to each Clark County organization will be matched by the Clark County Community Foundation.

Organizations listed include the Murry Foundation, Thomson R. Bryant Jr. and Betty R. Bryant Fund, MacAdam Family Foundation, Jenna and Matthew Mitchell Foundation, Angel Levas Foundation, Marksbury Family Foundation, and more.

Along with Clark County, fellow counties, including Harrison, Woodford and Franklin will be participating.
