Clerk’s office closed for Memorial Day
Clark County Clerk Michelle Turner’s office will be closed Saturday and Monday in observance of Memorial Day. Regular hours will resume Tuesday, May 31.
Comprehensive plan meeting in a box offered
The Planning and Community Development Department is offering a “Meeting in a Box” to discuss the vision and goals for the 2017 Winchester-Clark County Comprehensive Plan. Any interested organization, party or group can host a meeting. The last meeting date is June 16. AARP meeting Tuesday
AARP Chapter 632 will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Generations Center, 32 Meadow St. Betty Smith will read form her book and others will be encouraged to share.
Community open house scheduled at Holly Rood
There will be a community open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 11, at Holly Rood, 28 Beckner St. Everyone is welcome.
Class of 1967 reunion
The George Rogers Clark High School Class of 1967 is having its 50th class reunion Oct.13-15. Friday will be a day at Keeneland, Saturday will be an event at Harkness Vineyards/Peach House and Sunday will be a brunch at the Winchester Country Club. Class of 1977 reunion scheduled
The George Rogers Clark High School Class of 1977 40th reunion will be June 23-24. There will be a get-together at 5:30 p.m. June 23 at Woody’s Sports Bar & Grill.
