The Sun was recently alerted that an 888 phone number called a local business claiming they had won one of the paper’s 2023 Reader’s Choice Awards, which will be published on Sept. 30.

The Sun is in no way affiliated with any 888 numbers making such claims. Only the paper’s sales representative, Dianna Roe, will notify all Reader’s Choice winners via email, telephone or in-person meeting.
