A weekend trip to Loveland, Ohio, last Saturday ended in a 2-0 defeat for the Lady Cards.

A Monday date with state power West Jessamine in Nicholasville ended 3-1 in the Lady Colt’s favor. Sophomore McKenzie Stapleton netted her maiden goal of the season in the defeat.

The Lady Card returned home on Wednesday for a showdown with Region 10 foe Bishop Brossart and came away with a 1-1 draw. Junior Ella Vanhooser scored her team-leading seventh goal of the season during the match.

They next take to the pitch on Aug. 30 with a home match against Estill County.
