Mark Anderson Snowden peacefully passed away July 11, 2023 at North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, Florida with family by his side. He was born in Winchester, Kentucky September 23, 1962 to his parents Linville “Butch” Snowden and Susan See Snowden. Mark was a resident of Keystone Heights, Florida since 1986. Mark was outgoing and funny; he made friends easily. He was a member of The Elks Lodge #990 in Gainesville, Florida and a member of the American Veterans Post 86 in Keystone Heights. He loved watching sports of all kinds. Mark was an avid UK Wildcats fan supporting them in football and basketball. He enjoyed playing golf, listening to live music, reading, and spending time with his friends. Mark is survived by his wife of nearly 37 years, Tonya Tanner Snowden of Keystone Heights, Florida; daughter Savannah (Tyler) Brown of Austin, Texas; parents Linville and Susan Snowden of Winchester, Kentucky; brother Mike (Sarah) Snowden of Winchester, Kentucky; sister Carol Clements of Winchester, Kentucky. He was loved by many nieces, nephews, and close friends. He will be missed by many. Celebrations of Life will be held at later dates (to be announced) in Winchester, KY and The Elks Lodge in Gainesville, FL open to all friends and family.
