Frank Edward Mefford, 66, husband of Susan Jane Dunbar Mefford, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Clark Regional Medical Center. Born in Lexington, Kentucky, on May 24, 1957, he was the son of the late Mark Stephen Mefford and Margaret “Maggie” Evans Mefford.

Frank retired from Winchester Public Works. He was an avid wildlife photographer and fisherman. He enjoyed geocaching, hunting for arrowheads, and grilling. Frank was a member of the Clark County Fish and Game Club, where he would take his dog for daily visits.

In addition to his loving wife of 45 years, he is survived by his children, Chelsea Mefford Stanfield and Mark (Kelly) Mefford; grandchildren, Max Stanfield 4, Ezra Stanfield 3, Gavin Mefford 9, and Logan Mefford 5; and beloved dog, Sally Jean.

Frank’s wishes were to be cremated. Services will be private.
