Rebecca Ward Webb, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2017 at her home.

She was born March 14, 1926, in Richmond, KY. She grew up in Paint Lick, KY and graduated from Kirksville High School. She furthered her education at Eastern Kentucky University and graduated with a teaching certificate in social studies. She was a committed teacher serving in both Clark and Madison counties. She attended First Baptist Church and was an active member of the Ann Judson Circle.

Becky was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Allen Webb. She is survived by daughter, Pat (Henry) Rosenthal and son, Richard (Kim) Webb; three grandchildren, Melissa (Jim) Lintner, Lee (Cassidy) Rosenthal and Sarah (Alex) Smith. There are also eight great-grandchildren; Emmalee Lintner, Hallie Lintner, Will Lintner, Hope Lintner; Lydia Rosenthal, Webb Rosenthal, Elliott Rosenthal and Vivian Smith. She is also survived by two brothers, Milton Ward and Bill Ward both of Madison County.

Visitation will be Friday, May 5 from 11am until 1pm at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main Street. The service will follow at 1pm with Dr. John Owen presiding. Burial will be in the Richmond Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers are Edith Myles, Helen Harrison, Jane Parrish, Mildred Brandenburg and Louise Benson. Active pallbearers will be Jim Lintner, Alex Smith, Vincent Rosenthal, Charlie Hawkins, Mike Kindred and Jim Keffer.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions be made to Hospice East of Winchester, 407 Shoppers Drive, Winchester, KY 40391.
