Mayme Marie Sams, 68, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at Frankfort Regional Medical Hospital. She was born in Jackson County, Kentucky, on April 17, 1953, to the late Lucy Lainhart Sams and Stanley Sams. She moved to Clark County, Kentucky in 1966.

Survivors include a sister, Vernie Sams and a brother, Gene Sams and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Rubin Sams and Ivan Sams, Sr. and a sister, Evelyn Stamper.

Mayme was a very kind person and a friend to many. She will be forever missed.

Services will be at 1:00PM, Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Scobee Funeral Home by Dr. Todd Rader. Burial will follow in Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Estes, Scotty Head, Randy Johnson, Ted Lovelace, Joe Parido, and Larry Stewart.

Visitation will be from 11:00AM until time of service.
