It wasn’t your usual GRC boys’ basketball win, but it was a win nonetheless.
The Cards knocked off 15th Region champs Pikeville by a score of 43-38 Friday afternoon in quarterfinal action at Rupp Arena in Lexington. GRC advances to play Saturday at 11 a.m. in the KHSAA Sweet 16 semifinals against Lincoln County.
