Clark County Preschool students spent the morning with family and friends Wednesday morning making art.
The event, called Crafting With Your Best Gal, had students inviting a mother, grandmother, sister, guardian or friend to come make a craft with them.
Family Services specialist Elisha Haile said the turnout was much larger than the preschool had initially anticipated, with more than 167 family members attending.
“It was absolutely wonderful to see so many families working on the craft together,” Haile said. “We had an amazing turnout today. The students had the opportunity to be creative and each craft was unique and special, just like every child here at Clark County Preschool.”
Students and their guests decorated special tiles with finger paints, and the students were able to take the crafts home as a keepsake.
