Benny Cecil Bowman, 78, husband of Janice Sue Bowman, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017, at VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

He was born in Booneville, KY, on May 18, 1938, to the late Sim and Stella Herald Bowman. He was retired from Bluegrass Army Depot and a member of Winchester Church of God. Mr. Bowman was a United States Army veteran.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother-in-law, Johnny Bowman; two sisters-in-law, Bertha Bowman and Dana Timpleton; one niece, Carol Sue Farthing; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be at 10:00AM Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastors Ed Toler and William Morgan. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 9:00AM until time of service.
