Boonesboro Trail gives free lunches to first responders

Police, firefighters, emergency personnel, and other first responders drove through Boonesboro Trail Senior Living for free lunches Tuesday. The event was called “Hometown Heroes Appreciation Lunch,” and bags containing a club sandwich, chips, a pickle, and bottled water were given to first responders in attendance.
The Hometown Heroes Appreciation Lunch is one of many events and activities Boonesboro Trail offers. The senior living facility is a community for seniors to make friends, stay healthy, and get a better understanding of their insurance policies.
Other activities offered by Boonesboro Trail include monthly meetings with a guest speaker and free lunch, screenings for both physical and mental health, and exercise activities.
Boonesboro Trail Senior Living is located at 2101 Old Boonesboro Road in Winchester.
