MARCH 4, 1992
—County firefighters put out two grass fires Tuesday afternoon. At 3:58 p.m. firefighters battled a 10-acre blaze on the 13365 Iron Works Road property of John Tabor. Firefighters put out a 2-acre fire at 3:28 p.m. on the property of Rick Chapman, 86 Kiddville Road.
MARCH 4, 1962
—A request that visitors not come to the Clark County Hospital from Monday morning until Monday evening was issued today by Emmitt Earles, hospital administrator. Earls noted that approximately 40 patients now housed in the old Clark County Hospital at West Lexington and Wainscott avenues will be moved to the new $2.5 million Clark County Hospital farther out West Lexington Avenue.
