Clark County nonprofits have raised nearly $150,000 in the first few days of the annual GoodGiving Challenge.

As of 3 p.m. Thursday, which was the third day for the week-long online donation campaign, local nonprofits had raised $145,407.

The 25 nonprofits participating from Clark County and their donations raised as of Thursday afternoon are:

• Achieving Recovery Together, $4,313

• Bluegrass Heritage Museum, $4,626

• Clark County Community Services, $15,250

• Clark County Homeless Coalition, $15,052

• Clark County Youth Sports Association, $6,847

• Friends of the Clark County Animal Shelter, $4,382

• Habitat for Humanity of Madison and Clark Counties, $3,338

• Holly Rood, $2,479

• Hospice East, $1,799

• Leeds Center for the Arts, $9,118

• Legacy Greenscapes, $3,350

• LIFE for Pets, $2,926

• Marco Shemwell Foundation, $599

• New Beginnings of Winchester, $9,477

• Partners in Education of Clark County, $6,000

For many local nonprofits, the GoodGiving Challenge serves as their major fundraising campaign for the year.

The annual challenge is facilitated by the Blue Grass Community Foundation and Smiley Pete Publishing.
