CLARK COUNTY FIRE

  At 7:23 p.m. Thursday, firefighters asssited EMS personnel with a call on Mount Sterling Road.

• At 12:27 a.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Cork Avenue.

• At 10:55 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding on Spring Valley Road.

• At 3:50 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted Winchester Fire-EMS with a call on Mutual Avenue.

• At 3:51 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted with a motor vehicle accident on Bypass Road.

• At 9:41 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted with a motor vehicle accident at Lexington Avenue and Daytona Drive.

• At 6:02 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a brush fire near the 11 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

• At 7:45 a.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Washington Street.

• At 4:42 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Combs Ferry and Todds roads.

• At 8:22 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a report of downed utility lines on Lexington Avenue.

• At 9:40 a.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Mount Sterling Road.

• At 11:27 a.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Harkins Drive.

 

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

• Ann M. Alvarez, 49, was charged Thursday with public intoxication and third-degree possession of a controlled substance.

• Adam C. Asbury, 41, was charged Saturday with possession of drug paraphernalia, third-degree possession of a controlled substance and probation violation.

Reports

• At 4:20 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Crawford Avenue for a fight in progress between two brothers.

• At 6:39 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to West Lexington Avenue concerning a suspected shoplifter.

  At 5:15 p.m. Friday, officers were called to South Main Street after a vehicle was vandalized.

• At 8:45 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to Bypass Road after a vehicle was damaged during an attempted theft of its wheels.

• At 10:54 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to South Highland Street after vehicles were egged.

• At 12:47 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Fulton Road concerning the theft of a handgun during the night.

  At 3:04 p.m. Saturday, officers took a report concerning a stolen package.

• At 3:11 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to Dale Drive concerning a stolen truck.

• At 6:58 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to Dale Drive after someone broke into a vehicle and took a purse and wallet.

• At 9:30 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to Windsor Drive after someone broke into a vehicle and stole personal documents.

• At 11:08 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to Robb Court concerning the theft of a wallet from an unlocked vehicle.

• At 11:16 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to Dale Drive concerning a theft of tools from a vehicle.

• At 3:12 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to First Street concerning a theft of copper.

• At 3:17 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to Dale Drive after someone broke into a vehicle and stole two wallets and cash.

• At 6:21 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to Bypass Road concerning multiple women yelling at each other in a parking lot.

• At 7:01 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to Rolling Hills Lane concerning a person breaking a mirror on a vehicle during a child exchange.

Accidents

• At 3:25 p.m. Friday, officers responded to an injury accident on Bypass Road in which Lee S. Shoap of Corbin was crossing Bypass Road on foot and was struck by a vehicle driven by Chayse Haggins of Westwood Drive. Haggins said a truck blocked his vision and he could not see the pedestrian. Shoap was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

 

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

• From Thursday through Sunday, EMS personnel responded to 60 general medical calls, five cardiac cases, 12 respiratory cases, one diabetic case, two seizures, one stroke and four overdoses.

• At 9:21 a.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding on South Main Street.

• At 12:30 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding on Bypass Road.

  At 3:17 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Washington Street and Smith Avenue.

• At 1:29 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident on West Lexington Avenue.

• At 3:26 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident on Bypass Road.

• At 3:42 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a brush and trash fire on Mutual Avenue.

• At 9:23 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Lexington Avenue and Daytona Drive.

• At 10:35 a.m. Saturday, firefighters were called to Ascot Circle for a smell of smoke.

• At 4:41 a.m. Sunday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at Combs Ferry and Todds roads.

• At 7:34 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a structure fire on Taylor Avenue.

• At 8:21 a.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to Lexington and Burns avenues for downed utility lines.

• At 12:24 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Lexington Avenue and Bypass Road.
