East Clark water meeting
The East Clark County Water District board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, at the office at 118 Hopkins Lane.
Retired teachers meeting Feb. 21
The Clark County Retired Teachers Association will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Woody’s on Bypass Road. Lacee Duncan, Clark County’s Distinguished Young Woman winner, will be the guest speaker. The business meeting will begin at 12:15 p.m.
Campbell YSC meeting today
The Campbell Junior High School Youth Service Center will meet at 11 a.m. today in the resource center room.
AARP offers tax preparation help
The AARP Tax-Aide Foundation program will offer free tax preparation, counseling and electronic filing and Mondays and Tuesday until April 18 at the Central Baptist Church annex, 101 W. Lexington Ave. Taxpayers should bring their 2015 tax return and all documents showing 2016 income. Those itemizing should also bring proof of taxes paid and contributions.
Mayfield to speak to Kiwanis Club
State Rep. Donna Mayfield will update Winchester Kiwanis Club members and visitors on the latest changes in Frankfort during the Club’s meeting at noon March 1 at Taste of China.
School board meeting Tuesday
The Clark County Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Central Office, 1600 W. Lexington Ave. The meeting is open to the public.
City commissioners meeting Tuesday
The Winchester Board of Commissioners will meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Winchester City Hall. There will be a special meeting at 4:30 p.m.
Fiscal Court meeting Wednesday
The Clark County Fiscal Court will meet in regular session at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Clark County Courthouse.
Community Ed classes offered
Clark County Community Education will offer the following courses:
— Lawn, Garden and Landscape Workshop: Landscape Trees Selection and Care, 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, free.
— Chair yoga, 2-3 p.m. Mondays, Feb. 27 through March 20, $20.
— Easy flow yoga, 6-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20 through March 20, $25; 6-7 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 22 through March 22, $25; or 9:15-10:15 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 through March 23, $25.
