The George Rogers Clark High School football cardinal lost in a close battle against Southwestern in their season opener Friday. The team fell 13-15.
The Cards will be back in action Friday, Sept. 25, at Ballard.
The first home game is set for Friday, Oct. 9, against Bryan Station.
