Clark reports eighth death attributed to COVID

Clark County has reported another death related to the coronavirus.
The death of a 49-year-old man was reported Wednesday by the Clark County Health Department, and is the eighth death reported locally. It’s been more than a month since the last death was reported July 12.
Additionally, the department reported 11 new cases of the virus Wednesday.
The department is working 58 active cases of the 324 total cases reported.
On Wednesday, Gov. Andy Beshear reported 655 new cases and 12 more deaths in the state attributed to the virus.
There have been at least 40,926 positive cases and 842 deaths related to the virus in Kentucky.
