The following criminal cases were resolved in Clark Circuit Court April 9, 2020, with Judge Jean Chenault Logue presiding.

—Jason D. Lewis, first-degree fleeing or evading police, pleaded guilty, recommended two years and one day; driving under the influence (third offense), pleaded guilty, recommended 30 days, 23-month license suspension, fined; third-degree assault, pleaded guilty, recommended two years and one day concurrent; first-degree wanton endangerment, pleaded guilty, recommended two years and one day concurrent; carrying a concealed deadly weapon, pleaded guilty, recommended 30 days; possession of marijuana, pleaded guilty, recommended 30 days; failure to maintain insurance, pleaded guilty, recommended five days in lieu of fines; driving on a suspended operator’s license, pleaded guilty, recommended 30 days concurrent; no or expired registration plate, dismissed; sentencing May 7.

— Anniquita Wright, second-degree criminal abuse (two counts), sentenced to five years concurrent.

— Richard Bryant, first-degree trafficking in a controlled subtance (two counts), sentenced to five years concurrent; second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, sentenced to five years concurrent.

— Richard P. Bryant, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, sentenced to one year, consecutive to previous case.
