Janet L. Henson-Watts, 75, widow of James E. Watts, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020 at the University of Kentucky Hospital. She was born on February 11, 1945 in Breathitt County to the late Levi and Thelma Watts Henson. She owned and operated Janet’s Cobbler Shop in Winchester for over 45 years. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Tammy Ripy, three sons: Robert Landrum, Randy (Lorrie) Landrum, Rodney Landrum, one step-son, James (Angie) Watts Jr., Grandchildren; Rob (Samatha) Landrum, Frankie (Trisha) Landrum, T.J. Ripy, Mary Lynn Ripy and Will Watts, Greatgrandchildren Scarlet and Maddie, a sister; “Jeannette” Genett Conatsor, a special niece; Jeri Lea (Tyler) Garrison.
In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Blake Landrum and a granddaughter, Melissa Haddix.
A celebration of Janet’s life will be held at a later date.
